Double Hill Ranch & Lodge is located in the Cariboo district at beautiful Bridge Lake in the heart of the Interlakes area, a high plateau on 1200 m alt. between the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Rocky Mountains to the east. The area is famous for literally hundreds of lakes in all sizes and shapes.
The most famous and beautiful lakes are Lac des Roches, Sheridan Lake, Green Lake and of course Bridge Lake. The nature is spectacular with rolling hills, rivers, forests, mountains and valleys. Here you find all kind of wildlife like bald eagle, deer, moose, black bears, coyotes, wolves and cougars. There are even rumors that the legendary Sasquatch also known as Big Foot is visiting the area from time to time. Of course we can not confirm that ....
The outdoor activities in this wonderful surrounding are endless. You can go horseback riding starting at a 2 hour trail ride up to a multi day backcountry ride, you can do hiking or mountain biking, explore the area on guided ATV trips or see the beauty of the lakes from a boat or a canoe. The rich wildlife is waiting for you to be explored, if you are a bird watcher or like to see the big ones like moose or black bear. If you like to fish, there is world famous fly fishing just around the corner or in winter try ice fishing directly on a frozen lake. Speaking of winter, this is a season just as beautiful as summer with endless blue skies, the freshest air and lots of playing in the snow while snow shoeing, snowmobiling or cross country skiing.

We are happy to make the arrangements for you to make the most out of your Cariboo experience.
Of course the best activity of all is only possible at our ranch, limitless relaxation in your room, on the deck or by having a quiet walk on the ranch own trail system, accompanied by Rudy and Benji, who are more than happy to meet new friends ....
Only 45 min northeast Wells Gray Park awaits its visitors with its spectacular waterfalls, among them the second highest falls in Canada, only beaten by the world famous Niagara Falls in Ontario. There are multiple possibilities for hiking, kayaking, horseback riding ...
