Winter
Winter in the Cariboo is a magical season with unbelievable beauty and tranquility. It is not the most active time of the year, but it is the perfect time to relax, to recover and do the more quiet things. For example you can sit in front of the fire place, enjoy a hot chocolate and read a book. We offer a library with a wide selection of books in english and german.
If you want to be active, there are many possiblities. You can go for a walk in the beautiful white landscape, walk on the frozen lake or go for a snow shoe hike in the woods. If you like to fish, you should try ice fishing on Bridge Lake or Lac the Roches. The more adventurous of you can join a snow mobile tour or even go for dog sled tour.
After a winter day we await you to spend the evening at the fire place, chatt with other guests or just fall asleep and dream of this perfect place.
